How to switch from Pipedrive
What transfers
You'll bring across People (contacts) and Organizations (companies) — names, emails, phone numbers, addresses, custom fields. Note: activities, notes and files linked to deals and contacts are exported separately by Pipedrive and don't come across in a plain contacts CSV.
1. Export from Pipedrive
In the left menu, click “…” (More) → Export data. Pick the entity — People or Organizations. Choose CSV (or Excel) and hit Export. The file appears in the Generated exports list; download it via the download icon. A full export can only be run by an admin. Want just part of it? In the People list view, set a filter, pick columns via the gear icon, and choose Export filter results under “…”.
2. Watch the encoding (UTF-8)
Accented names can occasionally break. If they do, open the CSV in Excel and save it again as CSV UTF-8.
3. Import into Lemnio
In Lemnio, open the importer and upload the CSV. For data from Pipedrive, the universal importer recognises the source and pre-fills the field mapping. You check the preview and confirm.

Will I lose my data in Pipedrive?+
No. The export is a copy — everything stays in Pipedrive until you close the account yourself.
Do I need admin rights?+
For a full export from Pipedrive, yes. If you don't have them, an admin can prepare the export and you download the finished file.
Will activities and notes come across?+
A plain contacts export doesn't carry them — Pipedrive exports those separately. The address book (People, Organizations) transfers without trouble; your relationship timeline in Lemnio then grows from your work.
How long does it take?+
The export and import are a matter of tens of minutes. Most of the time goes on checking the preview before you confirm.
